Pamela Yuen, the founder of NatuFun (HK) Ltd., aims to promote experiential and integrated sensational training programs through African drumming, creative art, stories, games and sand playing.
Since 2008, Pamela started her African drumming activities and training programs in Hong Kong, China, Macau. She was also responsible to provide African drumming music and teaching skills to new instructors.
Pamela specializes in interactive and game design in drumming and training activities in order to induce students' learning motivation and promote the spirit of collaboration among the participants. She combines African drumming, games, traditional African dance and percussion pattern with creative environmental settings in her programs and activities to fulfill her "student-oriented" teaching philosophy. With her gentle and patient personality, Pamela established affinity relationships with students. She has also successfully solved the problem of many students, such as lack of confidence, lack of concentration, lack of emotional control, lack of motivation in learning and etc.
Pamela also worked for a number of elderly service agencies to organize elderly drumming arts programs and led the elderly students to participate in community performances and media broadcasting interviews. She also cooperated with the agency to plan and design the team drumming program for the elderly Institute and intergenerational activities. The success of elderly drumming performance greatly enhance the elderly students' self-image and satisfaction.
From 2009 to 2010, Pamela worked in a series of research projects of visually impaired elderly physical therapy with the Department of Rehabilitation Science of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Pamela designed a series of body rhythms with drums and African music activities for elderly participants to exercise their muscle and limb coordination in a pleasant atmosphere. Her curriculum design greatly helped a lot of elderly participants to improve their muscle and limb coordination and was awarded a lot of physical therapists’ recognition and recommendation. Pamela mastered African drumming with learning and therapeutic effects to generate integrated sensational training activities for the elderly. In 2010, she led a group of visually impaired elderly to perform African drumming in "Happy Friends" program of Hong Kong TV Broadcasting Limited, the oldest of all was a 103-year-old elderly participant.
Having extensive professional performing and creative teaching experience, Pamela has been working with more than a hundred schools, elderly services, social welfare agencies, special service agencies and business organizations to provide services for different age groups with different abilities. She and her students were interviewed by different media on several occasions and performing demonstrations. She also designed different choreography performances content for different institutions and helped them to win a number of awards, which included:

In 2012, Pamela studied and awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills joint-organized by The Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy of British Association (APAC) and the United Kingdom Canterbury Christ Church University in order to enhance her individual counseling and therapeutic play skills on child & game-oriented treatment model.
From 2013 and onwards, Pamela has been cooperated with a number of elderly service agencies to design a series of healthy brain drumming programs with relaxing music in a pleasant environment for the chronically ill elderly with brain degeneration disease and stroke disease to maintain their healthy thinking and activities in order to build self-confidence.
